Without folks “doing for others’ we, at Shoes for Orphan Souls, would not be able to distribute shoes to hundreds of thousands of children each year. If have been inspired to “put your best foot forward” we hope that you will consider collecting NEW shoes and socks or taking a trip with us to deliver shoes to children in need.

Shoes for Orphan Souls provides new shoes and socks to orphans and at-risk children in the United States and throughout the world. From conducting shoe drives to humanitarian aid mission trips, Shoes for Orphan Souls offers hands-on opportunities to individuals, groups and organizations that want to transform lives through social ministry. Since 1999, almost 2 million pairs of new shoes and socks have been distributed to children in 68 countries.

Shoes for Orphan Souls is the largest humanitarian aid project of Buckner International - a global Christian organization that seeks to make life better for orphans, at-risk children and families. Buckner provides an array of services to meet the needs of ‘the least of these’, including Humanitarian aid support, volunteer mission opportunities, community enrichment programs, foster care and adoption services and support programs for children living in other countries.

Collect shoes.
You can collect shoes or organize a shoe drive in your church, business, or civic organization. Shoes for Orphan Souls will provide tools and support to your ‘shoe-raising’ efforts. Click here to signup.

Travel on a
shoe mission trip.
When you join Shoes for Orphan Souls on a short term mission trip, you experience the true “soul” of ministry by personally sharing God’s love with orphans through a pair of shoes. Travel with us to Guatemala, Ethiopia, Mexico, Romania, Russia, Peru, Vietnam and Honduras. In addition, Buckner missions can work with your church, on coordinating short term mission trips, to change lives through humanitarian aid delivery, Vacation BibleSchool, medical or dental missions and construction projects, here in theUnited States and around the world.To learn more about Buckner mission trips, click here.





Make a contribution.

You gift can provide a pair shoes to a child in need.

Or, contribute to one of the many programs Buckner has developed, in countries around the world, aimed at improving the lives of millions of orphan children and giving them hope by knowing that God loves them. These are children left without parents or caregivers due to social upheaval in their countries, such as poverty, neglect and alcoholism.

Your gift will provide a pair of new shoes to a needy child overseas. Many of these children have never owned a new pair of shoes.

Volunteer with Shoes for Orphan Souls
Volunteers are needed to travel overseas to deliver the shoes to the children. We also need volunteers to host shoe drives and to help process shoes.
