Shoes for Orphan Souls: Host a Shoe Drive

A small gift of shoes can make a big CHANGE in a child’s life. Not only will those shoes show that someone loves and cares about them, but serves to protect their feet from cuts, bruises, and life-threatening diseases and illnesses which can be contracted through their feet. In addition, when caring strangers visit an orphanage to deliver new shoes and socks, it can brighten the darkest day. For the first time, children aren’t just hearing about God’s love – they’re seeing it in action. And that can CHANGE souls for eternity.

Collecting shoes is easy - set a goal of collecting at least 12 pairs of shoes.
Step 1. Ask you friends and family to donate a pair of shoes to your shoe drive efforts.
Step 2. Pack the shoes for shipping.
Step 3. Send them to the Buckner Center for Humanitarian Aid in Dallas, Texas.

If you would like to conduct a drive in your church, workplace or civic organization, we will provide you with promotional materials such as posters, brochures and a DVD.
