You can help us by interceding regularly on behalf of Shoes for Orphan Souls and the children we serve.
Pray specifically for:
Children’s health. Shoes can mean health, keeping children’s feet clean and safe from cuts, infections and even parasites. Sometimes, life depends on a pair of shoes.
Children’s education. In many countries, children must have a pair of shoes in order to attend school. Pray for the children who want to go to school, but can’t without the proper footwear.
Children’s self-worth. For many children, especially children in orphanages, a new pair of shoes may be the only new thing they ever receive, and the only personal property they own. Pray that through the gift of a pair of new shoes, children will know they are loved and valued.
Children’s salvation. Pray that through shoe mission trips and Buckner overseas staff, children may come to know Christ as their Savior.
Mission trips and travelers. Pray that those who travel to deliver shoes will stay safe and healthy on their trips and effectively serve the children they meet.
Shoe drives that are currently in progress. Pray that shoe drives in progress will go smoothly and that communities will be excited to give!
